CNY Kids ‘Punt, Pass and Kick’ Their Way to Sectional Championships

The City of Oneonta Recreation Department announced the following winners of the NFL “Punt, Pass and Kick” local qualifier, which was held at Ted Christmas Field in Neawha Park, Oneonta, on Friday:

• Cameron Sitts of Oneonta in the boys age 6/7 division.
• Savannah Cole of New Hartford in the girls age 6/7 division.
• Jarod Card of Oneonta in the boys age 8/9 division
• Jack Lambert of Cooperstown in the boys age 10/11 division
• Elizabeth Serafin of Oneonta in the girls age 10/11 division
• Bailey Wood of Walton in the boys age 12/13 age division

These winners advance to compete at a sectional competition scheduled for Sunday, October 28 at Damaschke Field. Winners from local competitions across the southern tier will compete at the sectional championship.

Sectional winners may advance to compete at the Buffalo Bills team championship, which is on December 2 at Ralph Wilson stadium in Orchard Park. The championship will be held prior to the Bills game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the children will participate in an exhibition to be held as part of the halftime show.
