The 100th anniversary of the City of Norwich kicked off last month with a reception at the Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich.

At that time co-chairs of the celebration, Kay Zaia and Mary Lou Steward, told those attending that they will have an event each month for the rest of the year to commemorate the 100 years in the history of the city. Kay Zaia says the April event is close at hand:

Coming up next will be a Memorial Day event , a concert, silent movies with a piano accompaniment, and more. We will keep you informed on each event as it nears. Don’t forget to visit the Chenango County Historical Society this Saturday to take a look at an exhibit on the  history of the City of Norwich.
