This weekend is a weekend is all about apple cider and more apple cider! Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard will be hosting its annual Cider Festival from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Fly Creek specializes in making the most delicious cider in town. Demonstrations will be available to show what this mill does best...cider. There will also be special demonstrations of how apple cider was pressed and made all the way back in the 1800s. The International Society of Apple Parer Enthusiasts (IAPES) will be there to display a wide variety of apple peeling equipment, from the big and heavy stuff, all the way to at-home peelers. Sunday will feature Ody B. Goldy, lyricist and impressionist. His performance will be filled with comical impressions of well-known artists. If you name the song and artist, you can win some free cider. All are welcome to attend. Admission and parking are free.
