The 2013 Chenango United Way campaign ends today at noon and it could be the worst campaign turnout in almost twenty years.

Elizabeth Monaco, Executive Director of Chenango United Way, says that they are looking at a little more than $402,000, which is about $54,000 short of their $456,000 goal.

Chenango United Way funds 28 community programs and 18 food pantries and soup kitchens. The agency has received funding requests which add up $629,000 and as it stands United Way will only be able to fund about half of them.

There is still time to donate before noon today by calling Chenango United Way at 607-334-8815 or online at their website.
