The Oxford man who authorities say robbed his ex-girlfriend and beat her so severely she later died of her injuries was indicted last week by a Chenango County Grand Jury.

48-year-old William H. Danielson was charged with two counts of 2nd degree murder, robbery 1st degree, assault 1st degree and assault 2nd degree. All are felonies.

Danielson is accused of forcibly stealing property from Lucinda Knoll and intentionally causing her death by striking her in the head multiple times.

If convicted of the 2nd degree murder charge Danielson faces up to 25 years in prison.

A memorial fund to benefit Lucinda Knoll's children is still accepting donations.
