The Chenango County Habitat for Humanity is holding its second annual soup tasting fundraiser from 4-6 p.m. Saturday March 16 at the Norwich Family YMCA.

Spokeswoman Jeannie Peterson says the event has grown since last year.

“There will be 27 different ladle-ready, superb creations from area restaurant chefs to taste,” she said. “That’s up from last year’s 22. When you come, you can choose your favorite soup and vote for that for the People’s Choice Award.”

The newest change this year is the extended Habitat bake sale from noon to 6 p.m. outside the YMCA community room.

Advance sale tickets are $5 and are available at the YMCA or from Habitat members.
