State Police at Richfield Springs arrested a 31 year old Rome man Saturday for 2nd degree attempted burglary, 3rd degree criminal mischief and the 2nd degree menacing, 2nd degree aggravated harassment and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.  State Police say on May 21st at about 3:30 a.m., troopers responded to an Otsego County 911 report of a burglary to a home on Crumb Hill Road in the Town of Plainfield.  An investigation determined that earlier that morning,  Jason Tuttle had allegedly called and threatened to kill the victim.  Police say shortly after he arrived at the victim's home, Tuttle broke a bedroom window and attempted to enter while it was occupied by the victim and three children.  Tuttle then fled but was located later that day and arrested without incident.  Tuttle was arraigned in the Town of Richfield court and was remanded to the Otsego County jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail.
