The Broome County Real Property Tax Foreclosure Auction at the Holiday Inn in downtown Binghamton continued this past Saturday and Sunday. Nearly 80 properties were auctioned off. Single family homes, multi-family homes, vacant lots, and more. Some bidders say the event gives people a chance to get into new homes. The tax due is a little high, according to Victor Weekes who was bidding at the auction. Last year, the County sold 124 properties, making a profit of $985,596.
