The Metropolitan Transit Authority has identified the four people killed in a New York City commuter train derailment.

The MTA has identified the victims as 54-year-old Donna Smith of Newburgh; 58-year-old James Lovell of Cold Spring; 59-year-old James Ferrari of Montrose; and 35-year-old Ahn Kisook of Queens. More than 60 others suffered injuries in the crash yesterday morning.

The Metropolitan Transit Authority is providing shuttle busses and urging commuters, who can, to work from home. About 26,000 people use the Hudson line on an average weekday.

Federal investigators expect to be at the scene for several days. They have recovered a data recorder, with the train's speed among the factors being considered in their probe of the crash's cause.
