Why is it we all remember the weather?

September 11, 2001 broke with clear blue skies, white puffy clouds and a NYC weather prediction of a high of 86.  Why do we remember that?  Does anyone remember the weather on Dec. 7, 1941?  Or the day the Space Shuttle blew up?  I guess we remember that morning weather because it was such a jarring juxtaposition to the events that started to unfold at 8:58 EST that day.  It became so dark and so grim so quickly.

We remember those lost souls from that day.  We look forward without forgetting.  We pray for our country.

By the way, the Daily Horoscope (Virgo) in the New York newspaper on the day before, September 10, 2011 read:  "There are major upheavals afoot....Even if your life is thrown into turmoil over the next 48-hours, something good will come of it eventually."
