The Kraft Music Hall began on radio and continued on TV right up through the 1970s.

Perry Como became the permanent host in 1959 and later (after he left) they employed revolving guest hosts (see Ed McMahon above).  The Music Hall was consistently a hit with viewers.  Acts ranged from the newest rock groups to the legendary pop performers of the previous era.

Many people forget that one of the semi-regular features of the Kraft Music Hall were the popular televised Friar's Club celebrity roasts..  Later these were hosted and made famous by Dean Martin on his own variety show.  Also the very first Country Music Awards show was featured on the Music Hall.

Obviously, Kraft products were featured in the show and the announcer was the legendary Ed Herlihy.

How many remember the Kraft Music Hall?  Here is a segment of the show from 1968.
