Battle of the Bands Spotlight: SkyanI

SkyanI formed when Khalil Jade, Sky Miritello and Charlotte Rozanski were in high school.

Khalil first brought Sky to the stage at the Oneonta Theatre during Julia's Open Mic Night. Charlotte joined shortly after and the trio has been performing together ever since.

They claim writing music together is easy and have written a number of original songs.

Influences include: Modest Mouse, Dala, Warpaint, Grouplove, She and Him, Dewey Cotton, Brand New, and Regina Specktor.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the Budweiser Happy Hour. Bands take the stage at 7 p.m., and we'll be giving out tickets to the Taste of Country Music Festival all night!
