State Police at Sidney arrested a 21 year-old Bainbridge man for the felony of 1st degree criminal contempt and the misdemeanor of 3rd degree assault. The arrest of William Holden occurred after troopers were advised of a dispute that happened in a vehicle on State Route 206 in the Town of Bainbridge. An investigation determined that Holden had allegedly struck the victim in the face causing an injury. Holden's alleged conduct violated a court order of protection that had been placed against him by the victim. Holden was arraigned in the Town of Bainbridge court and was remanded to the Chenango County jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.
