Bainbridge and Unadilla Stream Gauges to Remain in Service

A number of stream gauges in the region will be remaining in service.

US Congressman Richard Hanna says five US Geological Survey stream monitoring systems that were scheduled to be taken out of service in October will retain funding. The equipment is used to measure water levels and are important for monitoring flood conditions.

One of them is located in Bainbridge, Chenango County, and another in Unadilla, Otsego County.
