Yvonne Craig, the pixie-like actress who found fame as television's "Batgirl," has died.

She was an accomplished dancer and did all of her own stunts on the show.  She co-starred in several early TV sitcoms before landing her role as Batgirl.  She appeared in several episodes of shows like "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis" and "77 Sunset Strip."

The actress also gained fame as one of only a handful of female actors to appear opposite Elvis Presley in more than one film.  She co-starred with him in "It Happened at the World's Fair" and "Kissin' Cousins."

Craig, who was 78, died of breast cancer in California.
