ATV Rider Leads Police on Pursuit

An ATV rider from Colesville is issued over a dozen traffic tickets last Thursday after leading police on a pursuit. Police say James Joyce first passed an ambulance with its lights active on State Route 7 in Unadilla and that’s when the chase began with Joyce heading into Bainbridge nearly hitting a pedestrian on the way. Joyce was arrested after crashing the ATV onto railroad tracks. He’s jailed on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
