Arrest Made in Delaware County Fatality

A Bronx woman was arrested Friday morning in connection with a fatal crash in Delaware County last year. 31 year old Crest Wood was taken into custody by Bronx County Sheriff's Office and then transported to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office. Crest was charged with manslaughter 2nd degree, criminally negligent homicide, both felonies, and reckless driving.  According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Wood is accused of driving the wrong way on Cat Hollow Road in the town of Colchester in August of 2014, and collided head on with 48 year old William Sharpless of Nineveh,causing his death. Wood is now in the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $3,000 cash bail ,pending further court action
