U.S. Senator Charles Schumer made an appearance on MSNBC Monday morning and talked about the possibility of natural gas fracking in New York and that he supports it if done carefully.

Those comments didn’t sit well with the Frack Action and New Yorkers Against Fracking groups. Spokesperson Julia Walsh was upset that the senator made the comment that most Democrats support fracking, when in fact national and state polling shows a majority of Democrats are against fracking.

Walsh says Schumer should re-evaluate his position.
