Annual Fur Ball Announced for Chenango County SPCA

The Chenango County SPCA will present its 10th Annual Valentine Fur Ball on Saturday February 8th at the Canasawacta Country Club in Norwich.

Annette Clark, Executive Director of the Chenango SPCA, says the event is an elegant, semi-formal evening featuring light gourmet fare, desserts and live music featuring the band 'Splash'. The event will begin at 7 pm and end at 11pm.

Funds raised from the Fur Ball support the homeless and abused animals cared for by the SPCA and provide new programs for the community. Clarke says the SPCA needs about $300,000 a year to take care of the animals at the shelter.
