THIS IS A THROWBACK THURSDAY POST FROM A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO!

Little, historic Lititz, Pennsylvania has just been named by Budget Travel magazine as their "2013 Coolest Town in America."

An impromptu crowd gathered in the town square upon the word which raced through town: "Lititz Won!!"

Situated in Amish Country in Southern Pennsylvania outside of Lancaster, this beautiful community of less than 10,000 residents is steeped in history.  It boasts many "first"  and "oldests" and "largests" in the state and has a vibrant and very active core of community supporters who rallied to get their burg named the coolest of them all

My connection?

My brother, Bob D'Imperio is a longtime resident of Lititz.  He lives there with his wife, Jan, and two children Ashley and Anthony.

Here is my interview with Brother Bob about the honor for his town!
