CICERO, N.Y. (AP) — Police say a 96-year-old woman has been killed in a two-car crash on a Syracuse-area road.

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office says Vivian Tymko of North Syracuse was the passenger in a car whose driver turned into the path of another vehicle around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Interstate 81 interchange in the town of Cicero.

Deputies say the car was T-boned by the other vehicle. Officials say Tymko was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where she died of internal injuries.

The 69-year-old Cicero man driving the car and the driver of the other vehicle were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies say the investigation is continuing.
