2 Arrested in Chenango County Burglaries

Two men are arrested in connection with a string of Chenango County seasonal property burglaries. Police say Steven Barrows and Zackery England, both of Sidney, attempted to break into a home on Junction Road in the town of Guilford and an investigation connected the two to burglaries at an Oxford home and a garage in Guilford. Barrows and England appeared the town of Oxford Court with Barrows being denied bail and England remanded on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 property bond.

The investigation is still underway and future charges in other acts are possible.
